Therefore, we would like to inform you, in the following Privacy Policy, about the way in which this data is gathered and handled. Information gathered by vamedis
We are interested in two sorts of information about the user of the internet services: on one hand the data you voluntarily enter during the online registration process and on the other, the data left while using the website. This information allows us to better understand your interests and continuously improve the content and functionality of our services.
This is how vamedis gathers this information
Registration: we offer internet services for anonymous, as well as registered users. Although most of these internet services are publicly accessible, we reserve ourselves the right to allow access to some of our services, for example product specifications or newsletters, only to a selected group of people. In order to get access to this information, one must be a registered user. The registration process may vary from one service to another, among other, due to the legal specifications. Some information is, however, always requested: name, password, address, e-mail address.
Surveys: we will offer you, from time to time, the possibility to participate in interactive surveys, in which you have the possibility to share your opinions and find out what the vamedis-audience thinks about specific issues. In order to avoid double voting, you will be “marked” at the end of the process. Such surveys will be processed by vamedis and forwarded to third parties, of course with anonymous data and without any personal references.
Tracking: : we register the movement patterns and the search requests on our site. Never the less, this information is not in any way related to the individual user data. The web browsing statistic is categorized based on the following criteria: domain name, browser type and MIME-type. This data is contained in every browser and automatically transmitted by the browser.
Cookies: a cookie is a small data saved by an internet service, when accessed, on your hard disk. A cookie can contain different information. We save an anonymous User-ID in a cookie, information which is not connected to your personal data. We will not save in cookies: passwords, names or other personal information. The cookie serves only as movement pattern saver, as explained in the “Tracking” chapter.
Transmission of Information
We only use the above defined information in order to design our services as fair for the client as possible, and to offer optimal services. We do not forward any kind of personal reference information.
Changing/Deleting
You can change or delete the information you have entered during your registration, any time and as many times as you wish. The necessary functions are present on our site.
Opt-out-Policy
Whenever possible and useful, we give you the possibility to choose between more options. Examples: the option to not enter certain personal information during the registration process; the option to not take part in the interactive surveys, and so on.
